Tec Thoughts

I am a huge fan of Starbucks and now that they are offering free wifi there is nothing better for me than going over there and spending a few hours working while sipping my favorite cold coffee drink. Working on the net can get kind of tiring but being able to do it in the comfort of anair conditionedcoffeehouse with the wonderful smells of the coffee and pastries makes it a very pleasant experience. I have my laptop set up so that I can connect to my hone office server so I can do just as much work form there as from home. Sometimes I even take a few breaks in between to chat with some of the regular customers, since we see each other so often we have all become friends. I even know a few guys that do the same as me, work on line. We all agree that with it's free wifi connection Starbucks is becoming the fast and favorite place of all of us work at home people.

So my online job consists of a few different things, I am the night time customer service rep for a web designs business. That means that beginning at 9:00 p.m. every evening I take care of any help that people might need while downloading the web designs that we offer. In a normal night I get a bout 12 beeps and those usually take me about 10 minutes to complete. The pay is pretty crummy but since I don't have to be on the siteexpectfor when I am beeped I guess it ends up being pretty fair. When I am not helping those people that are looking for webdesignsI am also working on my other jobs.

My second online job is blogging, I have a blog that has become pretty popular with the work at home crowd. On a good day I can get up to 1500 hits and that means that I am making some pretty good cash just on the advertising spaces I sell. That plus the money from the web designscompany is put together with some income I make ghostwritingfor some blogs is enough to pay my rent and bills. After that and because the money from the web designs is so little there is nothing really left over for extras. Still I love working at home and won't trade it for an 8-5 job even if I made more money.
