It was a slow monday morning at work and the tiresome stress of having to tediously manage a group of lazy apprentices and new found employees was taking its toll on me.
I sat down after setting an easy assignment for these rookies to accomplish without my aid and sat down on my laptop inside my quaint office. I quickly typed in my user name and password to a well known messaging service and instantly i was in touch with friends and colleagues.
Truth be told, i was in the wrong to mix business with pleasure and i found myself within minutes on a games website browsing its archives for a retreat from work. Bang, pop-up after pop-up bombarded me as slowly but surely my laptop crumbled under the strain and issued a virus warning.
Unaware i had shouted this out loud, "What, how could i have a virus!?". I quickly jotted down the contact info for the web designers of the site i had been on and quickly got in touch. After an enduring conversation about the virus i had been administered rather cruelly, my laptop came round and the last of the pop-up's diminished.
I went back to my messaging and had to re-login to access it, my user name and password were rejected however. "User name or passwordincorrect" was my greeting after tapping in the right info. Undoubtedly, the virus was a keylogger and i was left without a source of repass to my pitiful monday morning.
I shut down and decided that it was best i didn't waste any more time on the problem and got back to my job. Disaster, the rookies had filed notice letters to several vital employees to the company and it was muggins here who had to take care of revoking the written sackings and then had to issue a few sackings of my own, after all, it couldn't go unseen to, the rookies were fired, i was teeming with viruses and my monday morning was only just past the noon hour. All i could do was count the hours until home time.
