Hi! I'm Lawrence. I'm 22. I'm going to tell you something that I really haven't tried doing in my entire life... I haven't tried buying on-line from e-bay and the likes. I believe that buying on-line has its own pros and cons. As a curious guy, I'm just a little hesitant to interact with people on the net especially dealing with monetary stuff. There are lots of scammers out there waiting for their next prey to catch. If you're one of them, too bad. Anyway, there's always a first time in everything. Maybe sooner or later, I'll learn the art of buying on-line.
If you're asking what I'm doing in my life right now. I'm currently a freelance designer and illustrator. It's fun but I need to learn other stuff to add to my skills. This past few months, I'm learning how to do web site design. It is one of the most in demand jobs right now. I'm learning HTML and Flash at the same time. Thank God I'm I could grasp every single thing from the books I read. I hope I could soon have my very own domain name website.
Having you're own website is a must in the advertising world. It is you're living portfolio on the web. Having your own domain is a plus. No irritating ads and pop-ups plus you could put anything you want on it. I promised myself that I'll get my own domain after I learn and create my very first website.
I missed school. I was a Fine-Arts student back then. I remember the time that the professors ask us to research about certain stuff. That was my 2nd year in college. We would rush to the internet cafe just near the school to google about it. We almost spent our allowance renting the computers and sometimes we don't each lunch just for the sake of having the research. Thank God for internet cafe that made our life easier during those toxic moments.
Being a fine-arts students is so hectic. Even if you're home, you can't rest. You need to finish deadlines.I spent almost every night working in front of my computer. I pity my other classmates who don't have their own computer at home. They work every night outside their comfort and they needed to rent computers on a 24-hour internet cafe. I'm glad we all finished and graduated the same year.Time is fast. We need to treasure every single time.
