It was the summertime of 2008 when i went to Scotland on holiday with a couple of friends of mine so that my friend could meet a girl he had been chatting to over the internet. He met her on an internet dating website whilst on my PC one day. They had been chatting for well over six months before they finally chose to meet up and well, there was a holiday in it for the rest of us so we said yes straight away.

internet dating has erupted over the last few years and there are hundreds of people every day that are meeting their partners and going on to live happily with each other. I figured I'd give it a go so i did and on the very first day of being on the site i ended up chatting to a girl from Florida in America. She was very pretty and i couldn't wait for the day we were to meet for the first time.

I would sit at my PC all night just so that i could chat to her on the internet dating site and then we started to chat over the telephone. One thing i learned pretty quick with dating sites is that there are a lot of people saying they are something that they are not and then spreading viruses through the computers of the people they lure in. This is where internet security comes in well as it will tell you if there is a chance of a virus before even opening the file that they send you.

The website designer of the different sites still haven't come up with an idea for having instant internet security through their sites which would be amazing as it would be a lot harder for computers to get infected. I have top of the range internet security on my PC so it isn't much of a problem but i was a little cautious before speaking to this girl from Florida but as it happens she is a great girl and i would love to spend the rest of my life with her.
