I use instant messaging as a way of communicating with my co workers.

I use instant messaging as a way of communicating with my co workers. We use instant messaging because we all work from home. We are all apart of an elite group of website designers who create the occasional web site and we even work on all the promotion for the site and banners and solos. A lot of people think that my job is really weird for several reasons like I only use instant messaging for communication, we never call or meet one another in person and none of my co workers know my real name they all actually refer to me using my user name. Everybody frequently asks how the heck i manage to work with people i have never even really met but I find ways of making it work. All my bills get paid, every web site we create are always made up of the best quality, whenever a site is experiencing technical difficulty we always manage to take care of it and get it up and running again. I mean its the perfect life for anyone who is not a people person. As for the only knowing one another's user name I think that is sort of our way of protecting our identities and believe it or not some of our clients who know previous people they have worked with names sometimes tend to not want to work with them again. So the user name thing keeps a very preferred amount of discretion between us and them and also sometimes clients who we don't want to work with look for us. I know that people I have worked with when i worked in an office have looked for me and the reason I hide is because they are the types of clients who are constantly breathing down your back and never leave you alone. It is as ifthey think that this is the first web site you have ever created.
In truth i love my job it provides so much flexibility and so much convenience and i really hope thateveryone else out there has a job they love as much as I love mine.
