There is a lot to be said for the Internet and how it works today. I love the fact that even when you have a typo in the address you type in we are sent to a domain site who offers up the address you typed for sale. Nice to not always see that error page!

There was a girl name Mary who wanted to know about web development. She asked her mom who was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the family. Her Mom was cooking barbecue chicken, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, greens, and sweet potatoes."Mom what is web development?" Mary Mom was too busy to explain the meaning of web development to her. Her Mom replied, "Mary ask your father I'm busy cooking. So Mary asked her father. Mickey was reading a magazine, which talked in length about the do's and don'ts for a website designer. But she was finding it difficult to understand as to what exactly the writer meant to say. "Who is a website designer, Daddy and what is a network, a program?" "Any TV serial for that matter. What's so great about answering such a question?" "No daddy. That might not be the answer. There is nothing here concerning any TV serial. The writer is talking about computers." "Anyways. What are the skill required to become a website designer?" "It's too complicated for me to figure out the technicalities like the internet security, the network the program. The language that is used here seems quite confusing. Please daddy, tell me. Please." "Ok. See. First of all, a website is a collection of web pages. The person who designs a website is called a website designer. Got it?" "Oh, how easy it was to explain this!" Ok, now the next point. A web page can exist on any computer. Due to the inter-connection of these computers, a web page or a website can be accessed from any computer. This inter-connection is called a network. It is almost like a local area network where a data from a certain computer can be accessed from another computer, say, in an office. But the only difference is that this connection has literally no boundaries, because this network is not physically connected by cables." "Nice. I understood this much. But what is the necessity and importance of Internet security?" "That is a burning issue for those having and owning a website. The data on a website can be hacked. That is, it can be stolen or tampered with by a person who has no right to do it. A lot of mal-practice is often done using hacking. Then blackmailing or messing about with the key data is done. Being a newbie to the whole internet world I am finding it very frustrating getting started on a website that I am working on with my friend Tom who is in web design. He does his web design during the day and I am in accounting, in the evening we both have a side D.J. business and this is the site that we are trying to build right now. I didn't even have a computer, that's how inexperienced I am about all this but one night Bob and I got to talking about promoting the business and when we both came up with the internet idea, we knew we had hit the jackpot. I purchased my computer the next day ordered my web access and am not sitting here trying to figure out all I can about building a website.

When I bought my laptop, all I know is to surf the web, and that's all I do day and night. I was totally clueless on how computer works. Maybe I wasn't born in computer age. Probably, I am person who doesn't rely much on computers. It took me so long before I decided to buy my laptop. I wanted everything done manually but time has been pressuring me to meet all my commitments. I am a graduate of mass communication and my job requires me to do a lot of writing. They want everything typewritten. I am a slow typist because I don't use computer that much. As I have said, I prefer the classic way than the modern way of writing. Most of the time, I hire a typist or pay for a typing job when I need something typewritten.

I have always wanted to start my own business online. That has been a dream of mine for about 7 years now. I would love to make my own web site design and have a web site of my own. I use internet explorer which is the best to use, according to my friend Mike. He is really good at web site design, and has offered to give me a few pointers how to get my business started. First he tells me that I need web access in my home as well as places that I might be throughout the day. Right now I have a full-time job outside my apartment and am doing pretty good with it. Actually I just got the job and I enjoy it. I was working strictly just booking on-line airfare to clients, but that wasn't enough to pay my monthly bills. So I started looking into web site design. I am a huge fan of Starbucks and now that they are offering free wifi there is nothing better for me than going over there and spending a few hours working while sipping my favorite cold coffee drink. Working on the net can get kind of tiring but being able to do it in the comfort of anair conditionedcoffeehouse with the wonderful smells of the coffee and pastries makes it a very pleasant experience. I have my laptop set up so that I can connect to my hone office server so I can do just as much work form there as from home. Sometimes I even take a few breaks in between to chat with some of the regular customers, since we see each other so often we have all become friends. I even know a few guys that do the same as me, work on line. We all agree that with it's free wifi connection Starbucks is becoming the fast and favorite place of all of us work at home people.

When I first got the Internet, a few people suggested which broadband provider to go with. Following their advice I signed up to the broadband provider and got web access. Hi! I'm Lawrence. I'm 22. I'm going to tell you something that I really haven't tried doing in my entire life... I haven't tried buying on-line from e-bay and the likes. I believe that buying on-line has its own pros and cons. As a curious guy, I'm just a little hesitant to interact with people on the net especially dealing with monetary stuff. I have numerous internet providers and very often the internet connection they offer would be very slow. I always find myself constantly trying to find another way to get internet access. I frequently visit the public library where they offer computers that provide a quick internet connection but unfortunately only allow one hour to each user.
